Find a way forward.
When a business is under pressure, start with the facts. We help prepare the assessment, bring the right people into the conversation and organise the next steps.
Business rescue under Chapter 6 of the Companies Act 71 of 2008 aims at rehabilitation through supervision and a plan. A moratorium has exceptions; completing this assessment does not start proceedings or protect you from claims.

About Business Sense
A business development catalyst, not another middleman.
Since 2012, Business Sense Solutions has helped emerging enterprises find their feet and established SMEs find their next step. We do the unglamorous work — registrations, business plans, compliance, the paperwork that makes a business real — so you can do the work you actually started a business to do.
We're based in East London and work with clients across South Africa. Most of them find us the old way: someone they trust pointed them here. That suits us fine.
- Founded
- 2012 — over a decade of walking with South African businesses
- Where
- 37 Main Rd, Abbotsford, East London — serving clients nationwide
- Who
- A team of 11–50: registration, plans, funding-readiness, advisory
Empowering emerging enterprises for sustainable growth — that's what drives every registration, every plan and every conversation we have.
How our people and AI work together
Agents on the tools. Humans on the sign-off.
Since 2012 our people have done the legwork by hand. Now a small agent team does the running — around the clock, in your language — while registered humans keep the judgement and the signature. Here's who does what.
The agent works for you and tells you the truth. If your idea isn't ready, it will say so — politely, plainly, and in writing.
The Partner
Knows your profile, your goals and your history. Routes the work, keeps the notes and answers on WhatsApp in minutes — any hour, any day. Between visits it remembers your story — only if you tell it to, and you can see and erase every note.
The Specialists
Compliance, books, funding, tenders, marketing and legal documents — a small team of agents that each do one thing well, on your Partner's instruction.
The Critic
Every document is verified against dated sources before it leaves the building. No source, no claim — the work escalates to a human instead of guessing.
The Risk desk
Green: delivered by agents, same day. Amber: delivered with a clear disclosure. Red — anything formal, like rescue or liquidation — goes to a human. No exceptions.
The Voice
Voice notes in and out — English, isiXhosa, Afrikaans, isiZulu and more. isiXhosa first for our Eastern Cape home. The chat panel on this page already listens and talks — try the mic.
The humans
Every client keeps a named human with a phone number that answers. Agents prepare and escalate; registered practitioners review and sign what matters.
Tax, legal and financial advice stays under registered, licensed humans. Every time. The agent's version is a draft until a practitioner says otherwise.
Regulatory statements need a dated source the Critic can check. If it can't find one, the task goes to a human — it doesn't guess.
If your idea isn't ready, you'll hear it straight. That's been the brand since 2012 — the agents are trained to keep it that way.
POPIA: consent first, the minimum we need, South African hosting, a named Information Officer and a full audit trail of every agent action.
